The terroir

The Aspres,
facing Canigou.

Between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, a dry, windswept climate that makes organic growing naturally practicable.

The soils

Pliocene
and Quaternary.

The vineyard stretches across Ponteilla and Llupia, in the plain of the Aspres. About ten hectares grow on silty-clay and limestone Pliocene soils; the other twenty occupy Quaternary terraces — stony ground mixed with quartz pebbles and schist fragments.

Ten grape varieties are grown here — from the most endemic, grenache, carignan, muscat, to the rarest in Roussillon: chardonnay, alicante bouschet.

Organic farming

Certified organic
since 2022.

Conversion began in 2019 across all thirty hectares. No herbicides, no synthetic insecticides: soil work, cover crops between the rows, and daily observation of the vines.
